Our Promises to God

• We promise to pray, alone and together, to thank God for our many blessings and for God's guidance in our lives and Church work.

• We promise to be accepting of God's plan for us.

Our Promises to our Church Family

• We will demonstrate our leadership and commitment to our Church community above our personal desires and by our example.

• Our energy will support our Church's pastors and staff so their efforts will be most productive and nurturing to our Church community.

• We promise mutual respect and care for our fellow vestry members as we work together, openly and cooperatively to serve our Church.

• Our time and talents are pledged as gifts to the Church community.

• We pledge to be forthright, honest and direct in expressing ourselves and our views.

• We pledge to be mindful of debate and disagreement as a process necessary to distill a plan or solution for our Church's needs.

• We pledge to monitor and evaluate the covenants at each Vestry retreat.
